Zig Zag Twist

When I was in hair school I came up with this cute little style. Hopefully you can understand how to do it with the pictures. It isn't super easy to do hair and take pictures at the same time so my husband helped out a little.
This is what it looks like when its finished...


What you need...
bobby pins, a comb and hair spray

Start off by parting the hair into a zigzag right in the middle at the top of the head.



Take just the very tips of the points of each zig zag. There should be at least two maybe three on each side.

These are the tips on the left side...

These are the tips on the right side...

Then take a bobby pin and pin the right sides tips together and do the same with the left tips. The point for this is that we need them to be out of the way and we will use them in a minute.

Now you should have the tips out of the way. You need to go about an inch to and inch and to the right of the first zig zag and make another zig zag section.
After you do you will pick up that section you just created and twist it to the right and bobby pin it at the base to secure it.Now your going to do the same thing again to the right of the twist you just made but this time you are going to include the zig zag tips that you bobby pined away (the ones on the right). Those tips should just look like they are laying over that first twist that you made.

This is what it should look like on the right...

Now your going to do the same thing on the left side.

The only difference is when you twist the hair instead of twisting it to the right you twist them to the left.

Hopefully this isn't to hard to follow, let me know if you have any questions. To finish it off take your hair spray and give it a good spray holding it all in place.
