Last week I did a color for a friend and she let me try something new. It turned out pretty cool and I thought it would be fun to post here to give some of you an idea of something your hair designer could try on you!
DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF!!! You could get this done using so many different colors and tones! If you are looking for a more natural look you could do a really dark brown on the bottom and a few shades lighter on the top giving it a natural but different look. Think outside the box and you and your hair designer might come up with something completely original, something you may LOVE!
I sectioned off a star (sort of) shape on the top portion of her hair. I colored the star a very bold vibrant red color (redkin 5cr 20vol) Then used a dark chocolate brown on the rest of the hair (redkin 3N 20vol).
Just so everyone knows I didn't have time to cut my friend's hair so I will post the end result as soon as I can! She looks beautiful and I can't wait to show you all!

That looks awesome! I keep looking at the top pict (A) and then the bottom (D) and I can not figure out how A=D! You are literally a hair magician!

ReplyDeleteMy sister works at a day spa and had this done to her hair a while ago. Her 2 colors were pretty similar, though, so it was kind of hard to tell. I would totally do this! It looks awesome!
